Tajo-Nicolas Groh, the emerging young Speedway driver, had a very successful season in 2023. The driver supported by Mabanol competed in the supporting events for the first Bundesliga event organized by the MSC Olching, near Munich. Even though he had never ridden a 125cc bike in Olching before, he won all four races and got the maximum of twelve points.

Looking back on the 2023 season, Tajo already had some good results early on. He secured first place in a competition called TTT Paarwettbewerb 125cc in Dohren and the third place in a competition called Masters of Speedway in Moorwinkelsdamm. He also finished in second place in the Störtebeker Pokal at MC Norden in the 125cc class and came in third in the NBM Race at MSC Mulmshorn.

During this season, Tajo primarily focused on the European and World Speedway Championships, which were held in Poland in July. Despite being relatively inexperienced on that level prior to his participation at the European Championship in Gdansk, he still managed to finish second in the first race. In the following races some minor slip-ups cost him.

In August, he participated in the Speedway Ekstraliga Camp in Torun, which is a talent scouting event for the world’s best leagues. Unfortunately, he picked up an injury in a collision and could no longer compete in the tournament. Nonetheless, he was able to establish valuable international contacts and gain further experiences. Tajo’s season was a bit of a roller-coaster but his dedication and ambition to become a Speedway talent to be reckoned with are promising and exciting.

Mabanol congratulates him on his successful 2023 season and wishes him the best of luck for the upcoming 2024 season.
