The protection of the environment is high on our agenda. We can never totally dismiss the possibility that leakages during storage or transport occur. As a progressive company that runs their business with corporate responsibility we do our utmost to curb the risk of such occurrences by taking preventive measures.
Further to that we prefer to recommend environmentally friendly and economical products when presenting our Mabanol product range to resellers or end-users, hence offering sustainable alternatives to the products they have so far been using.
Also our social and environmental responsibilities go beyond our day-to-day business activities.
Our current environmental activities are underpinned by our commitment to "Initiative Pro Klima".
This initiative is constituted by a group of entrepreneurs operating in the oil & gas business and petrol station operators who joined forces to link the protection of the environment to their business activities. This commitment was underpinned by their support of the Initiative Pro Klima project.
The Initiative places the focus on three key segments: supplying efficient products, offering support on topics related to environmental issues and promoting climate research and climate protection projects (i.e. tree planting campaigns creating new and mixed forests, sponsoring of tree planting projects).
Our viewpoint is that climate protection needs to be more than a one-off project. We strive to continuously commit to practices that help protect the environment. The activities of Initiative Pro Klima ensure that regular campaigns are initiated and conducted, hence making a significant and responsible contribution to protect the climate and the environment.

Further to the above we also commit ourselves to social projects. We are convinced to not only focus on our day-to-day business activities but also on entrepreneurial responsibilities.
