The Mercedes-Benz formulation represents the requirements for BlueTec engines used in their latest diesel-powered passenger cars. The BlueTec engine is based on the state-of-the-art common rail direct injection technology which not only complies with fuel economy standards but also contributes to cutting emissions such as nitrogen oxides.
