The performance of our high-performance passenger car engine oil Xenon Alpha LA 5W-30 has been upgraded to meet the latest requirements of major OEMs. It can be confidently used for extended oil drain intervals according to the specifications and recommendations of engine manufacturers. Engine oils that meet the latest GM Dexos 2 standard will now have to be used for Opel engines (2010 or later) across Europe. Xenon Alpha LA 5W-30 meets the described specification, which is backward compatible and hence also meets the Opel standards GM-LL-A-025 and Opel GM-LL-B-025.
Moreover, the SAE grade 5W-30 enables reduced fuel consumption and is therefore regarded as a fuel economy lube.
