Still fast on the trail but with a brand new vehicle
Mabanol have already proven themselves in the motor sports industry, driving successfully at full tilt as witnessed in the VLN Racing Series. Now Mabanol joined forces with a heavy-duty truck as part of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship in 2020 and beyond. FIA ETRC is one of the most popular motor sport series in Europe, in which about 20 trucks participate. Mabanol supports and sponsors the Tankpool24 Racing Team. The team's Scania truck is driven by Steffen Faas, a well-experienced driver of the series with numerous seasons under his belt, having participated in a big number of FIA ETRC races.
Mabanol wishes the Tankpool24 Racing Team and truck racer Steffen Faas all the best for the upcoming season.
The Tankpool24 Racing Team uses Mabanol Argon Truck FE 10W-40 for their engine - a UHPD low friction engine oil with the approvals of Mercedes Benz, MAN and Volvo.

29. – 30. August in Most (Czech Republic) – Autodrom Most
12. – 13. September in Zolder (Belgium) – Circuit Zolder → cancelled
26. – 27. September in Jarama (Spain) – Circuito del Jarama → cancelled
17. – 18. October in Budabest (Hungary) – Hungaroring
07. – 08. November in Le Mans (France) – Circuit Bugatti → cancelled
14. – 15. November in Misano (Italy) – Misano World Circuit → cancelled
Even though a comprehensive hygiene concept was laid out as numerous adjustments to the existing measures were made, the last two races of the season could not take place. The Corona pandemic had all motor sport events firmly in its grip and sadly did not stop at the FIA European Truck Racing Championship. As only two races could take place, the FIA Truck Racing Commission decided to not award the 2020 driver’s and team’s titles. Even though the trucks could not drive all the circuits, great pictures and videos were taken. In the Mabanol news section you can find all race reports with pictures.
