After having successfully finished the qualifying on Friday, Steffen had to replace his engine during the night as they encountered a serious drop in its performance. During Saturday’s race Steffen did well enough to secure first place in the Promoter’s Cup. This was once again testament to the Scania truck’s capabilities but once again they faced a serious setback on Sunday, forcing the team to pull out of the race as they did not want to jeopardise damaging other truck components.
The team remain confident to perform well in the upcoming race at Slovakiaring.
