Faas Truckracing - An exciting weekend in Zolder

Steffen Faas of tankpool24-Racing Team had an eventful weekend during the sixth race of the European Truckracing Championship at Circuit Zolder in Belgium. The weather was sunny and warm, as predicted. In Saturday´s qualifying session, Steffan Faas secured the starting position no. 8 and finished seventh in the first race, earning him the second place in the Promoters Cup.

In the second race, the Scania-Pilot started from the front row due to the reverse grid but was involved in a collision with other trucks in the early corners, hence losing ground and dropping to the back of the field. A technical issue also forced him off the track. Overnight, the team managed to repair the truck, and Steffen secured ninth place in Sunday morning´s qualifying. In the subsequent race, Steffen Faas climbed up to eighth place and secured the pole position for the final race. He took the lead in the final race but lost it due to a technical problem which eventually forced him to pull out of the race.

Despite the disappointments, the tankpool24-Racing Team put in a strong performance and secured two podium finishes in the Promoters Cup. Steffen Faas emphasized that they would carry the positive truck performance forward and focus on the remaining two races of the season. The next event of the European Truckracing Championship is scheduled for September 22nd and 23rd in Le Mans.
