Mabanol sponsors VLN team Beckers Motorsport

A perfect match – Mabanol clinches VLN motorsports sponsorship deal

Mabanol will be supporting the well-known “Beckers Motorsport” racing team which competes in the VLN Endurance Racing Championship in the 2015 season at Nürburgring.

Beckers Motorsport will participate in the racing class “VLN Production Cars V5 (2500-3000 ccm)” with a Mabanol-themed BMW 330i in the well-recognized green and white paintwork. The only modifications allowed in this racing class are the common safety features of a race car such as the mandatory rollover cage and minor customizations to the chassis. Hence it is possible to put the series vehicles up against each other under competitive conditions. Engine modifications are limited to a minimum in that specific class.

The three drivers of Beckers Motorsport who will be lining up for the team this season are Günther Beckers (with “Beckers Motorsport“/“Dieselspeed” since 1994), Henning Meyersrenken (joined “Beckers Motorsport” in 2002) and Victor Smolski (part of the “Beckers Motorsport” team since 2001) who have accumulated decades of racing experience and have already succeeded in a vast number of championship races.

Mabanol is looking forward to a captivating and successful race season with “Beckers Motorsport”.

VLN Endurance Racing Championship Nürburgring

The VLN Endurance Racing Championship has been gaining popularity not only among teams and drivers on the Nordschleife circuit at Nürburgring since its inception in 1979 but has also been growing in stature among spectators.

Counting around 200 participants, the VLN Championship has developed into one of the most popular race series in Europe. Drivers sporting either mass-produced vehicles or tuned race cars are up against each other in the series which is also made up of different car classes.

While one car seals the victory for each race there will also be championships in each individual car class where several drivers are vying for a win.

The VLN Championship consists of ten races with a race duration of between four to six hours. Up to 185 cars start a race in which several team drivers take it turns.
