During the Methanol Funny Car Series, Dragster driver Jürgen Nagel of Nagel Racing Team went head-to-head with Jarno Kuutniemi in the knock-out stage. While Jürgen Nagel‘s wheels spinned out, his competitor’s drag parachute opened after 60 feet owing to a shake. Kuutniemi edged to victory in a very tight finish. The contest was followed by an enthusiastic crowd and we are already impatiently waiting for the upcoming dragster events.
