Tankpool24-Racing pilot Steffen Faas claimed an impressive second-place finish in the Promoters Cup at the final race of the European Truck Racing Championship held at Circuito del Jarama. This renowned circuit, located north of Madrid, provided beautiful sunny weather for the event.
Steffen Faas, who kicked off the competition in 12th place, impressively overtook a number of competitors in the first lap. Unfortunately, a collision involving multiple trucks led to the race being halted. Despite this setback, the skilled Tankpool24-Racing driver was able to reclaim 8th place after the restart. After being penalised, he did not manage to improve later in the race, eventually finishing the race in 12th place. The team made the strategic decision not to participate in the second race on Saturday and focused instead on fixing the steering of their Scania race truck.
In the third race, Steffen Faas gained four positions and finished in 9th place. In the season’s final race, he once again achieved 9th place, thereby staying in second place in the Promoters Cup and securing the title of vice champion in this class. Steffen expressed his overall satisfaction with his team's performance on this challenging track.
We want to extend our congratulations to the team for a successful racing season!
