The second round of the European Truck Racing Championship took place under changing weather conditions at the Slovakia Ring in Slovakia. Despite a heavy rain shower and an involuntary stop next to the track, Steffen Faas was able to secure third place in the Promoters Cup in the first race on Saturday. In the second race the drivers were surprised by heavy rain after a sunny start which led to a few laps under the yellow flag. Nevertheless, Steffen Faas was able to secure second place in the Promoters Cup in his Scania truck.
The first race on Sunday started under best weather conditions. In the end the racing team was able to celebrate sixth place and a victory in the Promoters Cup. Not only was the sun shining in the final race, but Steffen Faas was also all smiles at winning the Promoters Cup.
We congratulate the whole team and cross fingers for the next race in two weeks' time, when Faas Truckracing Team will head to Tor Poznań in Poland.
