On the last weekend in August, the first race of the 2020 season took place at the Autodrom in Most, Czech. Showing a great performance, Steffen Faas of the Tankpool24-Racing Team climbed onto the podium twice in the Promoter's Cup, finishing second and third on Friday.
In the qualification training on Saturday, Steffen Faas fought his way from 13th to 7th place. After a collision the Scania driver got a 30 second penalty and finished in 12th place at the end of the day. In the second race on Saturday, Faas raised his game and secured 9th place.
On Sunday the first race started with a collision in the first lap, which led to a race abort. After a restart, Steffen Fass placed eighth, which meant pool position for the second race. Unfortunately the second race was cancelled due to heavy rain and a too wet track.
After the first race weekend Steffen Faas ranks 9th in the overall ranking with five points and ranks 2nd in the Promoter's Cup Classification with 31 points.
