In 2023 we are supporting the Hungarian race driver and seven-time championship winner Tim Gábor. Born in 1991 he started his career in 2001 the classy way and learned the basics of car racing at the Kesjár karting school. In 2003 Tim Gábor already competed in the Hungarian Go-Kart National Championship. From 2017 to 2019 Tim Gábor drove 25 rally races, with 5 wins and 12 podiums as well as a championship title. Between 2010 and 2022 he drove 124 circuit races, with 56 wins – including 22 pole positions and 6 championship titles.
This year Tim Gábor again takes part in the Clip Cup Europe. The Renault Clio Cup Series (up to 22 different Renault Cups including Clio Cup France, Clio Cup España, Clio Cup Italia, Clio Cup Europe etc.) is a one-make racing series created and managed by Alpine Racing. There will be nine Clio Cup Europe rounds, with 18 races – only the 16 best results will count. The current car the championship uses is the Renault Clio R.S. V with a Renault HR13 engine.
