Mühlner's Mabanol Porsche GT4 finished second in the latest VLN race. Spectators witnessed a suspenseful race that lasted six hours with extra points awarded for securing the pole position and the fastest lap.
The early lead in the race could not be kept by Moritz Kranz, Thorsten Jung, Nico Menzel and Fidel Leib (# 979) as they were pipped to second by Team Schmickler.
The 144 competitors in the six hours race "ADAC Ruhr-Pokal-Rennen" encountered severe conditions as it was wet throughout the race. Moritz Kranz defended Mühlner's pole position from the start but the Schmickler drivers managed to cut their lead during the last third of the race.
The exciting close of the race ended with Schmickler's # 917 overtaking the Mühlner drivers and finishing first after completing 38 laps.
