The qualifying to this year’s Adenauer ADAC Trophy was interrupted in the wake of a serious collision. The race was resumed soon and Mühlner’s Porsche Cayman secured pole position (awarded with an additional bonus point in the championship standings) and driver number 979.
In the enthralling four-horse race of the ADAC Trophy the Mühlner team took the early lead but was then trailing after a collision with Mathol Racing (# 966). After suffering another setback they could not make up the deficit, hence failing to cover the required distance and were therefore disqualified from the final results.
