Celebrating ten years of Mabanol – The story behind
Despite the global financial crisis in 2009, which also caused the lubricants market to collapse, the Mabanol brand was successfully launched in 2010. As part of the company group Marquard & Bahls AG, the idea of a lubricant brand with an individual concept was born in Hamburg initially with seven employees. It all started with a small team and a total number of 81 products for the automotive and industrial sector.
Over the years Mabanol’s product portfolio kept evolving to meet the latest standards of automotive technologies and industrial sites. Today the product range comprises over 250 high-quality products. The portfolio is constantly expanding and now also includes car care products for cars and industrial applications, a wide range of metalworking fluids and further specialities. In addition to the lubricant range, the sales activities have also seen steady and sustainable growth. Mabanol’s distribution network includes several sister companies as well as several independent brand dealers in Germany and abroad. The broad product portfolio, valuable expertise and customised concepts have proven their worth, thereby creating a sales network of independent resellers that successfully and sustainably distribute Mabanol in over 40 countries on five continents.
Today, Mabanol is recognised as a resilient and progressive company that meets high and stringent quality standards and is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 standards and complies with the EELQMS guidelines. With innovative products and always looking ahead to the future, a global brand has established itself, never losing sight of the goal of meeting customer and quality requirements in equal measure, even during the difficult times of the Corona crisis.
