On the 17th and 18th of October the second race of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship 2020 took place at the Hungaroring in Hungary. The race weekend started on a rainy Friday and a maximum speed of 15 km/h during the qualifying. The two races on Saturday started under similarly difficult conditions. Steffen Faas was unfazed by the rain and drove to seventh place despite the yellow flag. On Sunday the weather was more gracious and all drivers were able to drive their trucks at full tilt - with a maximum speed of 160 km/h. On the last Sunday race Faas drove to an impressive sixth place after stunning overtaking manoeuvres.
In the end it was a successful race for Steffen Faas in the Tankpool24 Racing Truck. Faas scored another 23 FIA points in total and was also on the podium four times in the Goodyear Cup - with two first places and two second places. With a total of 89 points Steffen Faas is comfortably in the lead of the Goodyear Cup.
